1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of PumpingbuddY, a camera based movement and competition service operated by WILKO GROUP LTD.
2. Account
You are responsible for the security of your account. An account is personal and may not be transferred. Use requires a minimum age of 18.
3. Use of the camera
Movement detection uses your device's camera. Before first use, PumpingbuddY explains what the camera is used for, what is evaluated, whether a recording happens and what is stored. A recording only happens after a separate, explicit agreement. A browser or device camera permission does not count as agreement to anything beyond the movement detection itself.
4. Fair play
Manipulating rep counting, leaderboards or competition results is not allowed. PumpingbuddY may review, correct or reject results.
This applies to every system of the app: to training repetitions, to the invitation rights and challenges of GIB MIR 10!, to PVP points, to CREW values and to the login streak. In particular it is forbidden to:
- invent or manipulate training results,
- credit the same repetition or the same session twice,
- create artificial point boosts or agreed results,
- deliberately exploit technical faults,
- use challenges abusively against other users.
A statistical outlier alone does not lead to a permanent suspension. Conspicuous results are reviewed before a decision is made. Measures and their reasons are logged.
5. Training features
PumpingbuddY counts repetitions through your device camera. Movement detection is a technical estimate; what is not recognised as a valid repetition does not count.
- A valid repetition is recorded exactly once and credited exactly once.
- Every session carries its own identifier; a session reported again is not credited twice.
- Training performance is stored per session and per training day, in your own time zone.
- Which values a repetition moves is decided by the training area it was performed in.
The free Rep Counter works without an account. When you create an account, a session trained as a guest is carried over once. With a free account these repetitions are practice repetitions: they move neither lifetime reps nor rep rank. With a paid plan the counter is the SOLO training, and the same repetitions are additionally credited as SOLO repetitions.
You train at your own responsibility. The health and safety section applies to every training.
6. GIB MIR 10!
GIB MIR 10! is the challenge between users. Every 10 valid repetitions of a training day earn one invitation right; a right is spent when the challenge is created and is not refunded. Unused rights expire at the end of the training day. With a free account at most three challenges per calendar month are possible.
A challenge size lies between 10 and 100 repetitions in steps of ten and may not exceed your own valid repetitions of that day. The invitation is valid for 72 hours; accepting starts a 24-hour window. Completion requires the given number of repetitions and proof: the picture of the last counted repetition, which the user releases themselves. Without proof within the deadline the challenge counts as not completed.
PVP points are earned exclusively by the player who answered the challenge, in the amount of the repetitions asked for. Points are booked exactly once. The sender earns no points.
7. CREW MODE
CREW MODE is the shared training area and is included in the SOLO PLUS plan. Groups are private and are entered with a group code; there is no public group search. In a shared session every participant performance is recorded separately. Group repetitions are already contained in the SOLO figure and are not counted twice.
8. Ranks, points and leaderboards
Rep rank, PVP rank and login streak are separate progress systems with their own requirements. Progress in one system does not mean progress in another.
- The rep rank is calculated from lifetime reps.
- The PVP rank is calculated exclusively from booked PVP points.
- The login streak counts the days on which you signed in.
Leaderboards show player name, country, rank, profile picture and the respective value. Ranking is calculated on the server. Training repetitions and PVP points are different quantities and are never converted into one another.
9. Notifications
In the app we show notices such as news and friend requests. Push messages are voluntary: they are only possible if you switch them on in the settings and the browser grants permission. Without permission nothing is sent. Push currently exists for chat messages and friend requests, each with its own switch. You can switch push off at any time. GIB MIR 10! currently triggers no push notification.
10. Your content
You may only upload content you have the rights to. Your original content stays yours: PumpingbuddY claims no ownership of your uploaded content. You grant PumpingbuddY only the rights needed for the features actually offered and for the storage, processing, display, security and moderation that come with them. PumpingbuddY content stays PumpingbuddY's.
11. Health and safety
PumpingbuddY is fitness and body performance software, not a medical service. It does not diagnose, does not detect injuries and guarantees neither medically correct form nor any fitness result. Rep detection is a technical estimate.
Train according to your own ability. If you have health problems, an injury or are unsure, seek appropriate professional advice. Stop training if you feel pain, dizziness or other worrying symptoms. Health and safe movement come before leaderboards, points and challenges.
12. Paid features
Paid plans are offered. Price, billing period, term, renewal, cancellation and withdrawal rights are stated to you in the checkout before you complete the purchase and apply as shown there. Payment is processed by a payment service provider. We never store complete payment card data ourselves.
The features each plan includes are described in the app.
13. Term and renewal
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled; 6 or 12 month bookings do not renew automatically. The term shown to you before you complete the purchase is decisive.
14. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time in the settings. After cancellation there is no further renewal; access continues until the end of the billing period already paid for.
15. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For simple negligence we are liable only for the breach of an essential contractual duty and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
PumpingbuddY is fitness and body performance software. Rep detection is a technical estimate. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for training results or for health consequences of training. Liability for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health remains unaffected.
16. Changes to these terms
We announce changes to these terms at least 14 days before they take effect, in the app and, where an email address is available, by email. The amended version applies from the announced date. If you do not object beforehand, it is deemed accepted. Where a change materially affects your rights, we point this out expressly.
